MGŁA ZATRZYMAŁA POLAKÓW W STAMBULE

Dziś w godzinach 15:00-17:00 i 19:00-21:00 miały odbyć się dwie pierwsze sesje walk eliminacyjnych turnieju w Trabzonie, który dla europejskich pięściarzy jest ostatnią szansą na wywalczenie kwalifikacji do tegorocznych igrzysk olimpijskich w Londynie. Z powodu mgły nad lotniskiem w Stambule, kilkanaście reprezentacji nie mogło dotrzeć na czas do oddalonego o niemal 1200 kilometrów miejsca zawodów i start przesunięto na jutro.

Niekorzystne warunki atmosferyczne zatrzymały między innymi kadrę naszego kraju, która do Stambułu wyleciała wczoraj o 14:45 z warszawskiego Okęcia. Z dziesięciu kategorii wagowych, w Turcji nasz kraj będzie miał reprezentantów w siedmiu. O olimpijskie paszporty powalczą Łukasz Maszczyk (49 kg), Rafał Kaczor (52 kg), Mateusz Polski (56 kg), Dawid Michelus (60 kg), Tomasz Kot (69 kg), Tomasz Jabłoński (75 kg) i Mateusz Tryc (81 kg). W skład polskiej ekipy wchodzą także selekcjoner Wiesław Rudkowski, jego asystent Czesław Ptak oraz Jerzy Rybicki, prezes Polskiego Związku Bokserskiego.

Dziś o 7:00 miało rozpocząć się oficjalne ważenie przed zawodami. W tym czasie reprezentacja Polski wciąż była jeszcze na lotnisku w Stambule. Do hotelowych pokoi w Trabzonie nasi zawodnicy weszli dopiero około 15:00. Łącznie z naszymi pięściarzami, problemy z dotarciem na miejsce zawodów miało 18 reprezentacji liczących 79 bokserów, a także 16 sędziów.

Wlasnie nie mam-wg moich ustaleń jeszcze ich nie ma w necie! informacje czerpie bezpośrednio od uczestników lub stron federacji międzynarodowych (na PZB jak zwykle nic nie ma) ale wertuje po kolei o tym, że np Irlandczyk będzie przeciwnikiem Tomasza Kota wyczytałem na irlandzkiej stronie.
