WILCZEWSKI'S FIGHT NOT CONFIRMED YET

The fight between Piotr ''The Wolf'' Wilczewski (29-1, 10 KO) and James DeGale (10-1, 8 KO) is still not confirmed by Polish fighter's team. Frank Warren's announcement's saying that it's a done deal but European champion's stable is waiting for the contract. They want a refund of expenses in case of DeGale's withdrawal and George Groves (13-0, 10 KO) is also trying to get that fight.

Wilczewski vs DeGale was booked for July. It all changed after Groves' victory over ''Chunky'' and Adam Booth's fighter was offered to Wilczewski. The problem was Booth's concentration on David Haye's preparations - talks were postponed so Warren's people approached ''The Wolf'' again.

Pole's impressive TKO win against Amin Asikainen (28-4, 19 KO) in March's title fight was not an accident. Wilczewski managed to execute his gameplan by making technique a factor and showed good conditioning, gradually outworking the puncher. Fight against one the best English supper-middles can be another step forward for O'Chikara Gmitruk Team's boxer.
