Eddie Chambers (36-2, 18KOs) will present a new challenge, at least on a heavyweight level, to former two division world champion Tomasz Adamek (45-2, 28KOs). Adamek told Polish Daily that Chambers' speed will be an obstacle to overcome in the upcoming fight - which takes place on June 16th at the Prudential Center in Newark.
In every heavyweight battle, Adamek had the speed advantage, but the bout in June will be a test of "who's faster" between the two. "He wears the nickname of "Fast" because he has quick hands. We'll see how he does in the fight with me. Every fighter is different, and he is affected [in the ring] by the style presented to him," Adamek said.
"It's hard to judge someone after a year of absence [from the ring]. Felix Trinidad returned after more than two years and he would win - but every case is different. Every boxer strives to fight for the championship, and if you do not succeed on the first attempt, then you try again. If you do not have these types of ambitions, you will not be the best."
