One of the most exciting world's boxing prospects, Polish cruiserweight Mateusz Masternak (24-0, 18 KO) will make his debut under Sauerland Event on 4th of February in Frankfurt.

Masternak will take on Michael Simms (22-15-2, 14 KO), United States Amateur, National Golden Gloves, and World Amateur Light heavyweight champion in 1999. Simms won the world amateur tournament in Houston in 1999. He was dropped from the Olympics 2000 team for breaches of discipline. His professional career is disappointing but he was knocked out only once (by Rakhim Chakhkiev last year) and caused a lot of problems for the cruiserweight elite, providing decent tests.

''Master'', who's just entered promotional contract with German stable, is still working with Andrzej Gmitruk - one of the most respected European trainers.

Frankfurt's show will also bring us two other, very interesting cruiserweight battles - Hernandez-Cunningham II and Licina-Alexeev. Two big belts (Cunningham IBF's and vacant EBU) are on the line.
