Just like last six months ago, Maciej Zegan (42-5-1, 21 KO) didn't have much problem disposing of Araik Sachbazjan (12-15, 5 KO). The Pole scored a unanimous decision in eight rounds.

Zegan, ranked #5 by the WBO, came out strong and after a few straight lefts in the first round, had his rivals eye very swollen. The man from Wroclaw controlled the tempo of the fight, even though he took some unnecessary shots at times when his concentration faltered.  It was a clear victory, but if he's seriously thinking about making waves at lightweight, he ought to come into the ring better prepared than today in Stuttgart.
