The return contest for the vacant WBC cruiserweight title between Krzysztof Włodarczyk (42-2-1, 31 KO) and Giacobbe Fragomeni (26-2, 1, 10 KO) will be the main event of the evening of boxing scheduled on May 15 at Atlas Arena in Łódź, Poland. Apart from the championship bout, the spectators will have an opportunity to watch several top Polish fighters in action, icluding undefeated Andrzej Wawrzyk, Tomasz Hutkowski and Damian Jonak.

The first meeting of Włodarczyk and Fragomeni took place almost one year ago in Rome. Although Włodarczyk managed to floor the rival in the ninth round, the battle finished with a draw. "Diablo", a former IBF champion cannot reconcile himself with the result and seems to be self-confident before the rematch. - The result of our first fight was unjust. Fragomeni will be definitelty afraid of the revenge, he suffered a lot of my powerful punches. - the Pole claims. - Fragomeni is not a typical puncher, he rather deals numerous blows and grows weaker round by round. I don't disregard him. Plainly, I am aware of my strength – the cruiserweight states.

Fiodor Łapin, the head coach of the Knockout Promotions group is a bit more cautious in his opinions before the contest and doen't underestimate the uxperienced Italian. - Krzysztof didn't withstand the first bout in relation to his condition. Certainly, if the referee hadn't helped the Italian in the round of nine, "Diablo" would have become the world champion. We're getting ready for the battle – announces Łapin, a respectable coach of the 28-year-old Pole. - Fragomeni is one of the most underestimated fighters of the cruiserweight division. Everybody reproach him with his age – 40. However, Giacobbe is incredibly tough, he usually dictates pace and doesn't surrender. We expect this kind of the revenge's scenario – informs Łapin.
