Only a few hours remain to the finish of the purse bid concerning the rematch fight between Krzysztof Włodarczyk and Giacobbe Fragomeni for the WBC Cruiserweight Title. The final decision is scheduled at 12.00 of the Mexican time.

The promoter of Włodarczyk, Andrzej Wasilewski hopes for the best and strongly believes that "Diablo" will have a chance to box for the second championship belt in the professional career in Poland on June the 5th. The place proposed by Wasilewski is Torwar Hall in Warsaw.

- As far as purse bids for professional bouts in Poland, we have never had bigger sum of money than the amount located in our envelope – reveals the promoter. - I hope it will be sufficient to overbid the OPI 2000 group which represents Fragomeni.

The group of Wasilewski, KnockOut Promotions nearly had lost the opportunity to participate in the purse bid. At the last moment, WBC decided to change its place from Mexico City to remote Chiapas. - 24 hours before the deadline, Sampson Lewkowicz who is our delegate, was still in the capital city of Mexico. Accidentally, I checked my mailbox at 4 a.m. and read the message concerning the location's change – explains Wasilewski. - Fortunately I managed to inform Sampson on time and now we're waiting for the official decision.

The fight between 28-year-old Włodarczyk and '69 born Fragomeni will be a rematch for the contest which took place in May 2009. Although the Italian fighter was floored by "Diablo" twice, the bout finished with a draw.
