The event which Polish fans have been waiting for seven years is close to come true. 33-year-old Matt Zegan (45-5, 21 KO) seeks sweet revenge on Artur Grigorian (38-1, 22 KO) he lost to in controversial circumstances on January 2003. The second fight will probably take place during Diamond Boxing Night scheduled on March 6th in Katowice, Poland. The first meeting of both fighters was a clash for WBO lightweight title in Essen, Germany. The clash finished after 12 rounds of Zegan's solid boxing but the judges established the '67 born Uzbek as the winner.

- I want this revenge to come true. In the past, there was somebody who didn't want this bout and interfered with the organization matters. Klaus Peter Kohl accepted the possible fight as well as Grigorian so certailny we will carry it through – said Zegan who recently rejected, i.a. in order to face Grigorian again, the offer of unbeaten Kevin Mitchell's (30-0, 22 KO) team concerning a bout for WBO Inter-Continental lightweight title - A fight for an inter-continental title is an interesting offer, but the financial issues looked not as good as I would like to. I know the rates of money possible to earn in Great Britain but the profits they offered me are not so enticing so I turned down the proposal.
