According to the information passed on by a promoter Andrzej Wasilewski to BOKSER.ORG, Krzysztof Bienias (39-3, 16 KO) will come face-to-face against Kell Brook (20-0, 13 KO) in an eliminator to WBO welterweight belt belonging currently to Manny Pacquiao (50-3-2, 38 KO). The stake of the bout scheduled on February 13 at Wembley Arena in London will be also WBO Inter-Continental welterweight title which holder is the 29-year-old Pole.

Bienias will start his preparations at the beginning of January, among others in Zakopane, Poland. WBO #7 rated Brook does not disregard the #4 rated Pole.

- Bienias has a great record and definitely is a hard rival. He is this type of boxer which I have to defeat if I want to be the world champion. He’s rated higher in the ranking so my possible win will be a next step to approach a fight for a title – said ’86 born "Kid". – Bienias remains unbeaten for five years so he certainly comes here to win. It’s a big challenge for me, however, I intend to keep my streak of my wins by knockout. I want to be teste and proven and this fight will be the excellent occasion. I want to be the world champion at the end of 2010.
