Roger Bloodworth, known as a former Andrew Golota’s coach, joined the training staff of Tomasz Adamek (39-1, 27 KO)  who is preparing for the fight against Jason Estrada (16-2, 4 KO) scheduled on February 6 in Newark. Thus, Bloodworth became an assistant of Andrzej Gmitruk who stands in Adamek’s corner for years. The trio is completed by Ralph Mendez responsible for physical strengthening of the Polsih heavyweight.

Recently, Gmitruk announced  that Adamek needs to engage a new trainer constantly watching over his fit in the United States while he is busy promoting professional boxing in Poland. Accordingly, the main coach of “Goral” fully understands the choice. It is worth adding that Bloodworth was recommended by Ziggy Rozalski himself.

- It’s necessary to bring to life a whole staff  around a fighter who presents such a high level as Tomasz Adamek and it’s normal. Even famous Freddie Roach, during coaching Oscar De La Hoya, had some people who helped him in Oscar’s preparation – said Gmitruk interviewed by BOKSER.ORG. The coach will join Adamek team on the January 3.
